Healthy Fall Snack ~ Baked Apples


Hi Friends,

As fall approaches, and cravings of comfort food kick in, I try to find ways to get into the holiday spirit that are both healthy and make my body feel good. 

This baked apple recipe is great as a snack, breakfast, or even an after dinner treat!

All you need: 
ü Apples ~ your favorite Fall apple
ü Ground Cinnamon
ü Yogurt ~ Any type will do
ü Walnuts

To Get from A to B:
ü Slice the Apples thinly on a cutting board
ü Sprinkle each slice with Cinnamon, or put the cinnamon in a bowl and drop the apple slices in (for full cinnamon coverage) J
ü Shake off extra cinnamon from each slice
ü Place apples onto a baking sheet (putting foil or wax paper on the baking sheet will help keep things clean)
ü Bake at 350 degrees for around 15 minutes

Mix with yogurt and nuts. Enjoy!
